Abstract(s) :

(Anglais) Antibiotic resistance has reached an unsafe level and constitutes a serious threat to healthcare; the increase of antibiotic resistance need to be urgently addressed. Pseudomonas aeruginosa, opportunistic pathogenic bacteria is part of the WHO "critical" group level and constitutes a major cause of various infections because of its ability to form biofilms in several environments. This work aims at discovering new natural antimicrobial agents with original mechanisms of action. The strategy we propose relies on the disruption of biofilm architecture with natural products to improve the penetration of antimicrobial agents. Studying several mutant strains architecture will help us identify targets that have an impact on the biofilm shaping through Quorum Sensing (QS) systems.
