Abstract(s) :

(Anglais) Cohomological techniques within the Batalin-Vilkovisky (BV) extension of the Becchi-Rouet-Stora-Tyutin (BRST) formalism have proved invaluable for classifying consistent deformations of gauge theories. In this talk we will review this formalism and apply the deformation procedure in two cases of extended theories of gravity: supergravity and massive gravity. Firstly, we will prove under clearly stated assumptions the uniqueness of N=2 and 3 pure supergravities in 4D (arXiv:1802.02966). Secondly, we will investigate the application of this idea in the case of massive field theories where the gauge symmetry is a priori not present but can be restored via the Stueckelberg procedure (arXiv:1806.04695).
