Abstract(s) :

(Anglais) Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) are molecular recognition materials which possess cavities complementary to a template molecule in terms of size, shape and functionalities. In this work, we aimed to develop a MIP based approach which allows the selective identification of new drug candidates. To improve the capture of template analogues, new MIPs were designed based on a compromise between flexibility and rigidity. Thanks to chromatographic assessments, the new MIPs appear highly promising tools as selective sorbent materials. In addition, they seem able to mimic the flexibility and mobility exhibited by receptor/enzyme binding pockets, which should be very beneficial in drug development.
