Abstract(s) :

(Anglais) I propose in this paper a project based on a strategy taking into consideration AVT, audiovisual translation and AVI, audiovisual interpreting with their involving difficulties of common core theory and training. This includes a pedagogical and methodological curriculum, PMC based on different approaches related to the theory of Curriculum Design. This on ground research have permitted an appreciation of AVT/AVI student’s profile and even a quantification of the know-how and skills obtained during the academic and professional training, in partnership with the concerned institutions and the specialized companies. This part of our work clarified the needs of the aimed Curriculum which was designed with an adapted methodology taking into consideration a strategy of internship in between the training Institutions and the professional Companies. The Complementary Masters, CM degree in audiovisual translation based on this curriculum constitutes the framework where the mentioned profile was designed in coordination between the Multimedia Centre of Studies and Researches (CERM) and the Institute of Language Sciences of Mons University (UMONS). In addition to theory on audiovisual translation, this project gives to CM students the opportunity to work and to research on different software programs in subtitling, dubbing, respeaking, audiodescription and visiointerpreting and to obtain a training at professional companies as well as to present a final paper treating the mentioned subjects.
