Abstract(s) :

(Anglais) Iron oxide nanoparticles (NP) are of great interest in nanomedicine. They are used in hyperthermia, tumor targeting, drug delivery therapy and in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) as negative contrast agents. In this work, we explore the effects of size distribution and magnetization of different-sized magnetite (Fe3O4) NP on NMR relaxation and magnetometry experiments. Indeed, these parameters play a key role in the efficiency of these NP as MRI contrast agents. Indeed, size distribution influences the relaxation effect of the NP, but also their biodistribution and clearance after injection.
