Abstract(s) :

(Anglais) International development and penetration of new markets are major concerns for enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Firm internationalization research is extensive and has a central place in the International Business (IB) literature. However, studies on the internationalization of SMEs remain fragmented and further research is required to better understand their internationalization strategies. The purpose of this article is to contribute to the development of theory-based research on SMEs internationalization. This conceptual paper analyses how the Social Networking Sites (SNS) are used according to the internationalization approach followed by the SME, traditional versus born-global, and leads to two research proposals.
