Abstract(s) :

(Anglais) Throughout the globalization process, new needs arose in terms of inter-lingual and intercultural communication. The variety and volume of these needs are such that in order to respond to them, universities should have developed trainings that would have taken into account mutations due to the spectacular expansion of digital communication engendered by such globalization. The intra- or inter-lingual and intercultural communication became universal, satellite and digital. It nowadays interacts concretely with all social, political, economical, scientific and technological domains. It is in this context that I chose inter-lingual and digital mediation as core example for the academic discipline I analyse in my thesis. This field, that combines New Technologies and Language/Translation-Interpretation, has become one of the most needed in intercultural and inter-lingual communication. It is also tremendous in the mediation technologies sector and particularly in digital translation and interpretation for global media. Despite this concrete evolution, the existence of such field in academic institutions in Europe and throughout the world prompts surprising findings. On one hand, this discipline does not exist in several translation and interpretation faculties involved in this practice and such impediment weakens their vision. On the other hand, the clinical survey I conducted showed that these institutions hardly possess a curriculum or a methodology for teaching and training intercultural mediation technologies. Thanks to the second survey, I could discover the causes and synergic weaknesses of this situation to suggest an innovative solution and verify my research hypothesis.
