Abstract(s) :

(Anglais) Despite recent improvements, having full functional description of communities is problematic. The main issue being the detection of rarer proteins. We designed a synthetic 9-species bacterial community (based on a marine community from muddy sediments). This community has been grown under simulated marine condition and stressed using zinc 0.5mM. DNA and protein samples have been harvested after 28 days to assess taxonomical and functional biodiversity of the community. This study compares the power of detection and quantification of 2 Mass Spectrometry methods and prefigures the potential of SWATH-MS in the detection of proteins from rarer species inside a community.
