Abstract(s) :

(Anglais) A large number of diseases are related to DNA mutations or to abnormal RNA synthesis. Among them, myotonic dystrophy type one (DM1) is related to a specific mutation in the DMPK gene. It is known that Pentamidine-like drugs could be promising candidates in DM1 treatment. In the current work we use capillary electrophoresis to screen potential drugs in DM 1. The first part of the work consists in the elaboration of DNA and RNA model probes for the disease. The second part of the work is dedicated to the elaboration and the optimization of the capillary electrophoresis test in order to screen database compounds.
