Abstract(s) :

(Anglais) Nano-objects and more particularly metal nanoparticles (NPs) play a central role in the development of nanotechnology-based optical devices. The collective oscillations of their conduction electrons are at the origin of their optical properties. In this study, we investigated the kinetics of growth of theses nano-objects (Au nanoparticles) in real time with imaging ellipsometry, a spatially resolved non-destructive method based on the relative change of polarization of light at the interface between two media. The growth of the NPs is correlated to the onset of scattering phenomenon, therefore we use the bidirectional reflectance distribution function (BRDF) to improve our investigation
