Abstract(s) :

(Anglais) The purpose of our oral communication is to contribute to the theme of change of practices and tools by demonstrating how does a feeling of clinical certainty about an intervention choice of the clinician build? What we call “clinical certainty” is what every family therapist have already experimented, a kind of feeling of obviousness about what we should answer to the patient during the interview, a feeling which emerged suddenly to our consciousness. Is it based on a clinical reasoning? Or maybe on an intuition? We took a magnifying glass to focus on those particular moments of clinical certainty to understand internal process of the clinician which are the origin of this feeling. We used a combined methodology with video feedback and elicitation interview to get access of non-conscious knowledge of the therapists. Our results showed that this methodology could be useful to improve family therapists’ practice.
