(Anglais) Toward the development of a therapeutic strategy applied to Alzheimer’s disease via phospholipase signalling Alzheimer disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by a progressive and irreversible loss of cognitive abilities. Actual therapies are only symptomatic and the treatment of AD is a real challenge. We used the phage display to identify peptides able to limit negative effects of phospholipase signalling observed in these patients. The blood-brain barrier that protects the brain limits the access of therapeutic agents. LDL receptor is involved in transcytosis of cholesterol through this barrier and so is a receptor of interest for bypassing it. We found peptides with good potential to help the transport of therapeutics through this receptor.
